This module provides an overview of common HVAC system types and configurations encountered during commissioning projects. Participants will review constant volume and variable air volume systems, terminal units, energy recovery systems, and central plant configurations for heating and cooling. The course introduces basic operational concepts, control strategies, and system interactions to help commissioning personnel better understand how equipment is intended to operate and how system performance is evaluated during commissioning activities.
